The Scottish Society for Crop Research (SSCR) Cereals Sub-committee will hold its Winter Meeting at the James Hutton Institute in Dundee.
In the UN "Year of the Soil" the theme is "Making the most of your Soil and Cultivations"
Bringing together top farmers, advisers and researchers to share research and practical knowledge. What can we learn from others?
Keynote Speakers
Tom Sewell is a Kent farmer and Nuffield scholar who has reviewed global cultivation systems
Colin McGregor of McGregor's Farms is a leading Borders arable farmer and Scottish pioneer in precision farming and minimum tillage. Colin has developed one of the largest arable operations in Scotland and is a former UK arable farmer of the year.
Programme
Registration is from 1:30pm before the meeting starts at 2:00pm with an introduction followed by a series of talks. Refreshments will be provided mid-afternoon.
Attending
Please note that this meeting is free for SSCR members but there is a £15 attendance fee for non-members. Membership of SSCR costs £15 a year and there will be the opportunity to join at the meeting. Please confirm your attendance to:
